I have been collecting/selling in Europe since 1999 and as far as I remember we didn’t got any first edition base booster boxes from the distribution channel.
I bought them in the USA, picked them up in person almost 20 years ago. (and before it’s asked, I have only 1 left which I am not selling)
Last monday I was in Italy to deliver an expensive boosterbox and that person was also talking about going to Spain for this.
I have sold a large part of my sealed collection recently, looks like more and more people are hunting for sealed (old) product.
Good times.
Same seller is now offering a Green wing base set box with no logo and long crimp for €6000.
The no logo with this seller makes me scarred altough the box would be awesome… www.cardmarket.com/en/Pokemon/img/specimens/694553303.jpg
He was called out on Instagram for the 1st ed being fake, someone mentioned the rear seal on the wrap looked off and there was creasing on the top cardboard indicating it had been opened. Rather than defend himself he deleted the account.
Huh? When did English get designated the official language of the world?
Imagine going on Alibaba or something similar and complaining that the Chinese people don’t speak English well enough, (they are selling internationally, so they must learn English!!)
It really depends on where you are as admiral says I guess.
As long as you understand each other and you both are happy with the deal the language doesn’t really matter.
But if you are not flexible when selling high tier items it doesn’t help if you don’t know any other language than your own.
