Clearly they would like a price lower than what is available right now. When I did respond to everything, those types of messages were usually followed up with a comically low offer. Usually 65% of last sold.

Exactly. That 180 listing with best offer on was the max that person was likely to pay unless they were completely oblivious. Messaging the person without offers on (you) seems like they’re just fishing.
I get it to some degree though. That card sold for $155, $160, and $200 (on the same day lol) 4 days ago. The number of people missing deals and trying to re-create them has probably skyrocketed in this market
