It also ended up being male so I did the reasonable thing with the nickname.

Recently I was discussing the lack of creativity of the TCG - or at least their lack of creative freedom. With sets like TR, a lot of weird stuff was just invented for the card game. Delta species is similar. Now, the limits of creativity allowed for the TCG outside the video game lore looks basically like this

I think the confusion comes from PSA’s updated label of the card. Personally, I don’t mind if it’s called a Pokemon Illustrator or Pikachu Illustrator.
