Simple solution.
Don’t talk about pokemon till you know her for long enough that she won’t care because she already knows you well enough. By then she probably won’t care very much about it and if she does she still will probably like you as a friend.

The best piece of advice that I have is to be yourself. If someone doesn’t like you because you have a nerdy hobby or passion, they aren’t worth spending time with.
I would guess that 95% of this forum has been made fun of, called names, lost friendships, etc. over something nerdy/niche that they liked, wore, did, or talked about at some point in their childhood or beyond. Life is too short to minimize yourself or hide who you are so that people will accept you or like you.
That said, please god, do not open with something about Pokemon or e4 to a crush unless you know that they have a shared interest.
