Perfection is a myth and fallacy. Nothing in this world is truly perfect, even black label cards (which is equivalent to PSA 8). Chasing after perfection is futile and meaningless.
That’s why I do buy 9s and 8s too. I’ll never buy a black label card but don’t mind receiving it as grading result so that I can sell to black label only collectors.
Only by recognizing and embracing imperfections (including limitations, weaknesses), we can be truly at ease with ourself and life itself.
