Oh my goodness! This person’s speech immediately turned sour and horrible once the seller rejected down his/her offer.
This kind of obnoxious and disrespectful buyers I would actually report and block them once they revealed their true colors. Not the first time I encountered anti-reselling or anti-investing sentiments, even on forums.
I can see the seller is a devoted collector with a large personal collection and should be respected. Not easy for one to maintain a collection, the hard work involved in searching for scarce collector’s items and painfully choosing which items from own collection to let go (ie; streamline collection), while hoping to be properly compensated and reap the fruits of appreciated collector’s value of the item.
Those cheapskate buyers looking to take advantage of a huge discount are the least welcomed everywhere, by every seller. I also had sold something lower than market value decades ago, a China mint peacock coin, only for the buyer to resold it for profits 3 months later. Such buyers only want to easily buy in at dirt-cheap price and steal all the profits, while not recognizing the hard work the collector put in to his/her personal collection!
