Vicious!

damn

What vicious? Don’t get what you’re saying…

Even I myself do make sacrifices and lifestyle adjustments to get certain expensive chase cards/slabs, be it less eating out at restaurants, less visits to the spa, more eating at home, etc. I count myself more fortunate that I’m single.

it appears like the mother and child are asking/hoping he uses that money to purchase food because they’re hungry, however his intentions are to buy a luxury item instead, leaving the mother and child without food

Unless you tell me you’re a billionaire, or billionaire’s heir, or won powerball jackpot, you’ve got to make sacrifices for the things you want in life.

You want that promotion? You got to sacrifice your free time for upgrading studies, spend more time at work and less time with your family. You want that top chase card? You want something? You got to work for it. Life’s like that.

Once during my teenager years, I went without lunch during recess time for several days in a row so that I can buy a dragonball prism card that I wanted badly. My pocket money each day was $2 only.

Right, but in this scenario, the sacrifice the man is making to get this card is having his family go hungry.

That is what is xileets was referring to as vicious.

However it seems that you’re advocating that this is okay? I’m a bit confused by your attempt to justify this scenario lol.

Me? Don’t drag me into the picture man.

Nothing’s vicious about it. It’s his choice, if he thinks it’s worth it, who are you or we to judge?

But he is making his wife and son paying for his own desires. If he was the only one going on an hunger strike to pay for that umbreon, it would be ok, but because other people (that are relying on him) are suffering I would say that we can judge this as ethicality wrong imho.

Are we really psychoanalyzing a meme? Lol
