I am aware of EGS being subpar to PSA, BGS or even CGC, but I recently saw a few good deals on EGS 9 card which, if cross graded, could be worth much more (not to mention that it looked nearly pristine).
Does anyone have any experience with EGS? Their ‘GEM’ grade is a 9.5 so I wonder what their standards are. Thanks!
Have handled a few of them (maybe 20) and none of them would’ve been able to cross to the same psa grade, let alone 9.5s upgrading to 10s.
ESG is definitely the way to go looking at flow of funds. With an increase in impact investing and ESG reporting doubling from Q1 to Q2 in quarterly reports, pretty much all asset managers and large cap firms are started to factor ESG into there decision maker. (…except Exxon, but they will be bankrupt in the next 10 years so…)

The best thing about egs is you can easily get the cards out of their cases.
