I will probably end up getting 1 of each product that has a promo card I need, keep 1 of each pack artwork sealed, and open the rest of the packs for fun for the first time in a long time

Smart idea. The only one Iām worried about is the Pokemon Center ETB. It always just seems like they sell out the initial batch immediately and then that specific edition of the ETB never restocks.

Can pre order the ETB now on PokƩmon Center. If I had to guess, the 2 promo cards you get will make up most of the value. So you get 11 packs and some deck sleeves.

I would bet the non stamped promo is $1-2 on tcgplayer a month after release. The stamp idk maybe $20-30. Thatās what happened with ogerpon at least

I can see the PC stamp Eevee going for $30+, seems itāll be a high demand promo. Pikachu, Charmander, and Snolax promos are $50+ now.

Yeah. I generally donāt go opening packs unless itās with some friends where we rip for fun, or itās an Eevee set. Got lucky pulling some alt arts in Eevee Heroes, so it was definitely worth the price.

The only reason Iām considering it is the combination of 1) an eevee set and 2) a bunch of other collectors with complementary collections also looking at pulling.

Japan being a high class pack means extra availability and decent pull rates. And with tcgplayer doing Japanese now, I am less concerned about this set vs Eevee Heroes

Thatās true. Availability and TCGPlayer should make singles easy to get. But I havenāt ripped any packs since Eevee Heroes I think. So I kind of want to.

Itās the same relaxed home pet vibe as AR Litten which Makura Tami also did. Food and slice-of-life themes are rather pleasant this year, though I admit with this being Eeveeās 4th special art (+ sowsowās) I am a little desensitised to Eevee in general
