Ebay offering 50% Final Value Fee on Cards $1000+ Through May 4th

Haven’t seen this posted here yet, but eBay is offering a promotion through May 4th where cards over $1000 in value save 50% in final value fees.

Somewhat niche, but actually useful for me: I’ve got a card consigned with PSA right now, but the listing is terrible and filled with incorrect info. If I can’t get PSA to fix it, I can withdraw the card and list on my own page and still get a significant discount on final value fees.

I was going to mention this when it came out a couple of weeks ago. But instead of an effective 15% ebay fee after paying fees on sales tax charged, it’s not 7.5%. Z&G is 7% on sales about $1,000. So it never made sense to sell on your own account

For a high visibility item, that extra .5% can be worth the extra eyes coming to your page and checking out your other items.

this promo is actually amazing prolly the closest thing to vault tendies for a while

it is ~6.8% at exactly 1k and the % goes down as you get higher (eg. above 5k its like <4%)

You heard it here, foks. May 4th is the confirmed date when the bubble ends. Ebay were the true masterminds behind the rapidly inflated prices you’ve all seen over the past months.

You can all rest assured stuff will go back to nor-…oh someone’s knocking at my door.

Wait, where is the info saying that percentage goes down the higher the value?

It’s 50% off final value fee. The natural final value fee % goes down as sales price goes up

Right, but I’ve never heard of ebay directly reducing the final value fees based off of sold price other than for consigners. I thought it was a flat 13.25% (see here: Selling fees | eBay)

thats just how ebay fvfs are calculated. the fee % decreases so 50% off would naturally as well. actually one of the main reasons to sell higher value stuffs
