One thing that I noticed in the fine print is that along with if you lose a case they charge you $20, but by agreeing to managed payments, you also give them permission to make the automatic withdrawal from your bank account for the amount in the case that you lose.

I assume they are motivated by saving a lot of money on the back end by not paying PayPal since they dropped ownership in 2015 and had a ~5 year continued partnership agreement. I get they are just trying to cover their own butts, but they could drop fees to a flat 10% of the total and just make everyone happy, it is dumb that they are trying to grab $20 per lost case against small businesses and individuals when their profits were $2.8billion last year alone. I’m curious to see how their profits will be for 2021 once everyone is on managed payments and these extra fees are in place.
