A heads up for anyone who sells on ebay, they are now charging for the “gallery plus” option on collectibles. This was always free for collectibles on ebay, now it is $1 for the service.

they are always trying to fuck us at collectibles. We have the higher % compared to other as most collectibles never reach teh 2500 so we cap. This is going to directly affect both of us.
How will this affect good till cancelled listings? Do we need to do anything in order to avoid fees?

Unfortunately… It is really not that bad though!
1.) From My eBay - Click to View Active Listings
2.) Click “Edit” - “Edit all Listings”
3.) Select all Listings
4.) Click “Edit Fields” - “Listing Upgrades”
5.) Under Gallery Plus - Select “Remove from All”
6.) Click “Save and Close” and “Submit Changes”
You can edit up to 500 Listings at once - hope that helps!

I was playing around with re-listing some products and when I tried to list a product under the below listing I saw it was free, green letters gallery plus is free.
“Collectibles > Animation Art & Characters > Japanese, Anime > Pokémon”
When I tried under collectibles it wasn’t showing up as free, but when I was reviewing my fees it also seemed to be free.
“Toys & Hobbies > Collectible Card Games > Pokémon Trading Card Game > Pokémon Individual Cards”
Insertion fee: Free
Picture Pack: Free
Total:* $0.00
I also checked my billing and no extra fees have shown up yet. I have never paid for extra fees, but I am assuming they would show up right away, but this is eBay, so I am not 100% sure.
-edit- I tried making a new few new listings and didn’t even get the option of using it. I saw some posts of a problem with the feature on the eBay forums. I wonder if they have disabled it, or at least partially.
I was charged for 80 listings so far and have ~1000 in my store. Would have been $1,000 if I missed it all month. I caught this editing some listings earlier and was going to come here to post the same warning. I called and put in a request to have the fees refunded since I just noticed and pulled it off all my listings. Had I not been paying last months statement and noticed the high current balance not yet invoiced, I wouldn’t have noticed it. Until I came here and saw this of course.
