If you read a few messages up, I suddenly stopped getting them for 3 months last fall. What I ended up doing is going into the notifications preferences and making sure literally everything was checked. I thought I already did at first, but there were two check boxes left unchecked. After checking them I’ve received both 5% promotions posted above.
It’s also worth mentioning that I did this through the desktop version of eBay, as there’s no “Promotions and Surveys” category on mobile from what I can tell. The bottom two check boxes are the ones I found unchecked (don’t worry, I haven’t received any phone calls or text messages.)
@dh1,Thanks! I’ll try that. Those bottom two boxes were unchecked for me as well so I’ve checked them now and will hope a promotion comes through when they do the next one!
