Ebay Authenticity coverage

I’m buying a couple high end cards on Ebay for the first time in a while, and this will be my first time experiencing the Ebay authenticity guarantee middleman service provided by Ebay. I was just wondering but other than the obvious authentication aspect, will the people doing these inspections also say do other things such as inspect the card if its graded a 10 and tell me if theres some kind of obvious damage (chips, significant whitening, etc) disqualifying it from being a 10?

I usually only buy high end cards from listings with high quality scans anyways, but I do often get anxious about defects I might not see due to glare, surface angles, etc from any given listing and it would reduce alot of the anxiety I get from these transactions. Thanks.

They won’t confirm the grade is accurate. Only will confirm the slab and label are correct

eeveeteam is correct - they will not reappraise the card. However, they will ensure that it’s the exact card sold in the listing, that the card matches the scans (if available), and that the case has not been tampered with. Buy with confidence!

the authenticator is PSA, if its a graded slab they only authenticate the slab itself and not the actual card. it is still the safest place to buy since it is 100% guaranteed to not be a fake slab that there are so many of these days esp for ponchos, charbars etc
