I scored it lower because of the gums too. The gum-teeth just look weird.

it’s the same reason gyarados isn’t a 10 for me. the mouth is so goofy being open all of the time

would you give any pokemon 10s?
Probably not. Design wise im not sure theres any I’d consider a perfect pokemon, for me that is a pokemon that within its design summarizes what pokemon are.

i see. yeah i guess my standards are more broad. it just needs to be a creature that has a good fundamental design with no drawbacks. nothing too high minded. nothing deep. just a “perfectly” designed creature in the style of pokemon. for me, that has always and will likely always be mew.
since these polls are 1-10, many pokemon with near perfection that might grade something like a 9.5+ would be rounded up to a 10. pokemon like umbreon, latias, and darkrai for me where honestly there isn’t anything i dislike about them, but they’re still not “the best” imo
Mew is one of the top that came to mind, milotic too for some reason. Just not enough detail in mew for me to give a 10. That was probably the closest though.

there were definitely some interesting results here. one of which is Mew beating out Mewtwo by 1/1000
I think the next poll will be all Gen 3 exes (similar to the SwSh SA poll we did a while back)
