How this works:

Note: This poll is different from previous due to including multiple Pokemon at once. Please read:

There will be three types of polls:

Design - which Pokemon you like most

• vote for your favorite

Card - which card(s) you like

• vote for every card you like

• cards are listed in chronological order based on first release

• each card will have a picture followed by the option to vote for it.

• THIS OPTION IS FOR THE INDIVIDUAL CARD

• If one release has more than one of the polled Pokemon in it, the images will be grouped together (in pokedex order) with that number of options to vote below

e.g.: Jungle features all three, so there will be three card images followed by three polls - one for each card.

Set (of Cards) - which trio(s) you like

• vote for every trio set you like

• In the event of all three Pokemon sharing a release, there will be an additional option to vote for the trio of cards from that set.

• THIS OPTION IS FOR THE TRIO TOGETHER AS A WHOLE

e.g: “I like the three cards that came from (insert set) and think they look nice together”.

• Think of this as if they were together in a binder page.

On Sunday at 12PM Pacific Time, the polls will automatically close. I will edit this post and title to count down from least to most voted, and we will see which are E4’s Favorite.

as mentioned before, i’m taking a week off after this one. because of this, i wanted to put in the extra effort to make it a good one.

The trio vote was difficult. I went with Jungle because it’s the only one without at least one weak link (other than Rocket but those aren’t holographic.) Some of the best cards come from the weaker trios like Skyridge Vaporeon, Sandstorm and Unseen Flareon.

Flareon’s artworks in later sets are more interesting to me because they don’t really play off its typing as strongly as the other two. A lot of Vaporean cards involve being in the water, and Jolteon running/having electricity around it. The artworks for the latter start to have a repetitive feeling for a period.

Vaporeon just looked so alien compared to the others which is part of why I loved its design. Though any other day I would say Flareon. Granted all three honestly have some stellar arts. I don’t blame Eeveelution collectors for getting them all for a reason.

Well was my voting heavy on early side, the first one i skipped was skyridge jolteon. But eeveelution collectors indeed have it all well, so good art from all eras. Even though flareon is easily my top favourite of them jolteon really does have some crazy good card art too, vaporeon is slightly behind the two but nevertheless a lot of highlights for it too

Vaporeon is the only no-symbol Jungle error I pulled from a pack when I was younger, so it will always be somewhat more important of the three, but on the whole, they’ve all had great cards over the years. My favourites are probably EX-era after Jungle.

Really upset they went a different direction with vaporeon. I think the jungle card’s tail and mane that look like fins/fishy-appendages is much better than the dolphin tail that was settled on.
