The graded card from skyridge is also super cool–I totally missed that it had all 3 birds in the artwork! As a lover of eSeries cards this goes right into the collection.

Just received my Secret Santa today from @Will (or I’m assuming it was you based on the username? Haha 
). I admittedly was going to wait until Christmas, but I made it like 5 hours before I got too excited to wait any longer! Haha
First, I’m absolutely thrilled at how much thought and effort went into this gift! The card genuinely made me smile and I thought the drawing was spot on! Haha
I started off with a giant pile of Japanese character rares, which are gorgeous! They will slide right into my special art binder next to my other ones! Every time I see these I can’t help but think how much better they look with the silver borders. The Snorlax and the Pikachu were especially exciting, and of course the Charizard as well!
I also received a great selection of packs from which I pulled a full art so I was happy with that! I was super pumped about the Shining Legends pack, as this was the first modern set I ever opened when I got back into the hobby! I was really considering keeping it sealed, but where’s the fun in that?
I was SO thrilled to get two PSA slabs of one of my favorite Pokemon from one of my favorite sets! I think my wife may have been even more excited as the slows are one of the only things she collects and she loves the art on these as well! The Pokemon Center ornament was also beautiful and is already hanging on our tree!
I was told there was more to the gift, which I find hard to believe because it was already so good! I’m sure it will be a wonderful bonus whatever it is! Thank you again so much for such a wonderful experience! I’m so happy to have participated in this event and to be fortunate enough to be part of such a great community! Merry Christmas to those who celebrate and Happy Holidays!

Thanks for the note and the thoughtful gift! The Murkrow has been on my radar for a while but I never actually bought one so it’s a great choice!
And yes I know what In-N-Out is but I’ve never actually have had it before😁
The art is incredible though! The water colouring is done so well! The shiny exeggutor is one of my favorite because I caught an Exeggcute at the safari zone in Leaf Green.
And here are the two graded cards! I’ve just started a PSA 9 black star promo set so I appreciate the snorlax. My DP-P collection is a bit sparse so I love branching out into new stuff

I am an American and I have never even seen an In-N-Out! I think I saw Tim Hortons once or twice, but never ate there. SO I would not call those 2 restaurants American icons…lol maybe onlyfor certain states

I received a package a while ago and finally decided to open it, as I couldn’t contain my excitement! Inside was an excellent drawing! It was a package from @stryker2407!
First were these singles, which are right up my alley! They are in minty shape, and the koffing is actually my first ever vending series card. The Komiya artwork is just so good!
Next up some more unique singles with some great artworks! @stryker2407 clearly did their research into what I collect, including promo’s, some of my favourite sets, artists, Pokémon and some excellent (un)commons!
Finally a boosterbox, and it’s actually one I hadn’t had the chance to open yet, so I cracked into it, and got some amazing pulls!
I feel giddy like I did as a kid on Christmas day, thanks a lot for the experience secret santa stryker!

Received a delivery by my secret santa, 4 packages each being better than the next. Nailed my love for Asako Ito and Yuka Morii Cards. Thanks @E-Unit and @fourthstartcg and everyone else that was involved with the event.
Package 1 was loaded with Asako Ito and Yuka Morii Cards, the vulpix one being my favorite.
Package 2 featured Alteria from Vstar Universe and Wobbuffet from Heartgold and SouldSilver?
Package 3 had a Dark Phantasma booster box! This was a set that I haven’t opened yet, the box was loaded with hits, but these are my favorites
And last but not least was package number 4, a graded Slowpoke from Fire Red and Leaf Green. The clay makes it look even derpier than usual.
I had a lot of fun opening everything up, thanks again E-Unit!!

Three Beautiful Cards
As soon as I saw who my Secret Santa was, I was stoked to get a Lopunny signed by @pfm! Last Christmas, I gave my Greninja Gold Star away, so having one back in my binder is great. I was so happy to add the Countdown Calendar Delibird to my collection too, because I am a big fan of season-themed cards. Each of these are happily in my binder!

Admittedly, I was having an incredible time so far. Opening this package put my jaw on the floor.
@pfm painted my E4 PROFILE PICTURE! I could not believe my eyes. This is getting framed ASAP and will be proudly displayed in my home.

Now this last box stumped me. Why should this item be opened last? What could it be?
A beautiful Dark Dragonite! One of my favorite cards, and one of Mitsuhiro Arita’s best artworks from Team Rocket. But why is part of the card obscured?
At this moment, my brain put it all together… @pfm + Toronto + Arita + Event… He didn’t… He couldn’t have…
@pfm sourced a Dark Dragonite at the 2022 Toronto Regional Championships to get signed by Arita and dedicated to me! I cannot describe how meaningful this gift is in words. I will send this stunning card to PSA in the coming weeks and it will forever stay in my collection.

Thank you so much for the gifts @rsx! I received them today in the currently cold and snowy eastern US and had a blast opening them.
When I opened the shipping box, I was presented with two wrapped things. I went for the thinner thing first, but found it was labeled with a 4 when I flipped it over so I went for the bigger thing.
The bigger thing was another box containing 3 numbered packages and a cool signed energy.
#1 contained 6 individually wrapped things, inside were…
A ton of Japanese Metagross line cards, spread across several eras! Highlights include the Reviving Legends line (which is one of my favorite entire line art sets), the Thunder Knuckle promos and the Megas, but they’re all great. There was also 3 EX era Magnemite codes I still needed, which is highly appreciated.
#2 only had one thing in it, but it was rather oddly shaped. When I unwrapped it, I was very surprised to find a sealed Metagross half deck. I’ll have to figure out some way to display it.
#3 was smaller than the other two but was rather firm. I unwrapped it to find a pair of EX Dragon Magnemite and Magneton slabs. These are my first two PSA slabs, so I was surprised to find how much smaller they are than the few CGC slabs I have. The EX era reverse holos look really nice without any major holo damage (like I usually collect).
Finally, I unwrapped #4. Inside was a little note from rsx and some festive art of Magnemite. When I realized what they were spelling out, I got a big grin on my face.
Again, thanks so much for the gifts rsx! Happy holidays and I hope you stay warm, especially if you’re getting hit by this giant storm as well.
