I got my Secret Santa package today.
Here is what I initially saw when I received it.

I could tell this was going to be great, and full of the best discord memes. :grin:


The letter was very nice, and so was the drawling.




I appreciate this all so much @dunsparce0p .

I love the time and effort that went into all of this, and the gifts were great.
I never though I would get some sweet topps chrome cards as a secret santa gift either.
Everything in here is great, the errors, the memes, the card you were talked into pulling live on discord, and even a trophy card. :wink:
This gift really reminded me of all the joys and good times there have been on discord.
I am going to get a special binder dedicated to all of these.

I received my SS gift today and was blown away! Thank you so much @joetehman! This was way more than I could have ever expected.

I do not have any of these items. The psa 9 1st edition Machamp really gave me the feels and was super thoughtful. Dark Blastoise is one of my favorite cards from rocket. And getting the sealed rocket pack reminded me of Christmas when I was a boy. And to top it all off I really enjoyed your conductor Pikachu! You should pitch this idea to Pokemon.

I realized after I filmed my video that the username MIGHT have had something to do with the chocolate. But I didn’t want to jump to any conclusions just in case the chocolate bar… was a chocolate bar. I may have to send a thank you message to a certain individual.

That moment you realize you completely forgot to include the handwritten note and drawn picture with your gift that you already mailed to someone overseas…damn! I guess I will need to stare at this thread carefully and send it when they post what they got. Awesome items people have received!

Secret Santa Gift has Arrived!!!

FYI for my Secret Santa… GREAT TIMING! Haha The package actually arrived on my Birthday!!!

First Off, I went to the Post Office on the 17th (My B-Day) to drop-off all of my eBay Packages. I wasn’t really expecting to receive anything, so I didn’t even bother to check my P.O. Box. Upon walking-up to the counter, one of the clerks told me that I had received a package from Australia! Surprisingly, I had never purchased anything Internationally until recently - purchased 3x Long-Crimp Shadowless Booster Packs from @cosrob about a month ago. Anyway, I knew it wasn’t anything I had ordered; and the writing on the box looked familiar… I figured it had to be my Secret Santa Gift; but was it really from @cosrob ?

Upon opening the package, I received the following:

LOVED the mixture of old and new Pokemon Cards!!! I really enjoy the art-work on some of the “newer” Pokemon Cards! However, my eBay Business and Collection are both 99% WotC-Era and I really never seek-out “newer” product. Just being able to look through and appreciate the art-work on those cards I had never seen before was AWESOME (Great Selection)!

I also really enjoy opening Booster Packs - who doesn’t enjoy that??? So, I was really excited to receive a few Booster Packs! Here’s a picture of the better-cards that I received from those 3x Booster Packs:

Now, I was actually a bit surprised by what turned-out to be my favorite part of the Secret Santa Gift… That Pokemon Booster Pack Drawing - OMG, LOVE IT!!! Haha

Little Back-Story… I collect Pokemon Booster Packs (1st Ed., Unlimited, and Most Variants) from Base to Present (one of Ea. Art-Work). When I originally purchased those 3x Long-Crimp Shadowless Booster Packs from @cosrob I mentioned to him that my collection was nearing completion and the only piece that I was still missing was the “1st Ed.” Black-Triangle (Missing Traingle) Charizard Art-Work Booster Pack. For him to remember that small detail within our conversation about a month ago was really cool! I’ve already added that into my Booster Packs Collection - that’ll remain as a place-holder for right now and then remain within my Booster Pack Collection long after I receive the actual Booster Pack!

And, for those that aren’t aware… The “1st Ed.” Packs have two versions - Black-Triangle Packs are the more “common” variant. However, some of the “1st Ed.” Packs were released without that Black-Triangle - containing the same cards (Unlimited). I was able to purchase the Blastoise and Venusaur off Rusty (@thecharizardauthorty); however, that Charizard Art-Work has alluded me for YEARS!

I hope I’m right in assuming my Secret Santa was @cosrob! Haha

My Secret Santa gift arrived today and I couldn’t be more pleased!!!

So awesome!! I have been focusing on collecting Japanese promos primarily for the last several months after I completed my set goals and it’s such a huge new world that I’m trying to get up to speed with. I do not have this promo card yet and Abra is probably the pokemon I identify most with so this gift really couldn’t be any more perfect!

My secret santa arrived today and I´m speechless. Thank you so much @jahbless91 for those perfect gifts. I prepared a little imgur story about the package, hope it works out. This rainy morning, the mailman had a package for me.
I had a hunch and as soon as I saw it came all the way from Sweden, I knew it; It’s secret Santa time!

My secret Santa took the time to wrap all presents; it really felt like Christmas morning!
And what’s this, art in a separate reinforced envelope? This must be good…

Holy smokes, my secret Santa hit the mark big time. He took the time to research and send really thoughtful gifts: Pins for my collection, cards with beautiful hand-drawn artwork, a PSA graded Skyridge Arcanine (illustrated by Aya Kusube, such a good illustrator), a retro plastic Pokémon bag and last but not least; an AWESOME hand-drawn Houndour (my favorite Pokémon). The drawing will be framed and gets a place in my office for sure!
