Dude, these are sick
Thanks! I am trying to work on making my lines cleaner. I am also trying to pick poses that don’t interfere with the energy symbol on the card. As I have more confidence I’m going to be doing them on energize your game cycle cards, for now just picking things that aren’t as expensive in case I mess up lol
Wow, that pikachu looks great!
I see that folks are getting an early start on sharpening skills for the summer illustration contest.
@ayoveer and @smokemon great sketches.

Wait. Is this the Pokemon Cringe thread?
Is this why you wanted to get better at drawing/painting?
It is now
@Dyl 100%, it’s my Magnum Opus.
If pokemon ever wanted to do a carddass set for pokemon pocket, they need not look further for artists..
Great work as always!
Did this one last year for a local Stadium 2 tournament! Loved organizing the tournament and working on the piece later.
Wow, this is very well done. Nice work! Really thanks for sharing.
Cheers!
Thank you!
I love this!
Wanted more colored pencil practice with fur. I’ll remove the tape once I darken and do some more final touches
Credit to: pixelartsDK on etsy. I used their art (maybe ai generated) as reference
I forgot to share - I had gotten these cards printed for fun from Make Playing Cards. It’s a very surreal feeling seeing my own art on a card and it makes me want to make my own set
It would be cool to see @cyberurchin print his Secret Oasis set some day!! I’d love to have a physical set of cards with his art on it
Thanks! Well you’re in luck, cuz I intend on printing them in the future ![]()
Also, when’s your set dropping boss? I wanna see more of your art
love what you did with these!
@smokemon The Umbreon looks crazy good! Will definitely be looking forward to your entry in the art contest this year.
@biirdbots The custom cards look great (and actually look like true cards)! The thick outlines remind me of Sumiyoshi Kizuki’s old style.
I want to!! It’s very much in the planning stages. I’ll make a thread when/if I comtinue working on it ![]()
Thank you! Kizuki has always been a huge inspiration since I was younger. Most of my art uses a fuzzy brush sinilar to the art style!
