Having spent over an hour filling out the original ballot I vote for this option (1), it will maximize the number of people that participate in the voting and while we did all spend a good amount of time an effort in doing the submissions I feel in the end the voting is just about finding that top 3.

Havenāt had a chance to really dive deep on functionality, but if itās helpful: SurveyLegend has a photo-based rank voting template that might work well here. Big might, as there may be paywalls/limitations.

One possible route might be using title / question associated with each set of photos as category, with context setting info on how that particular category is judged.
Whatever route we go, thank you guys for putting this together! Itās been a ton of fun already dreaming up new cards seeing all the entries

Just want to add my support for option #1. I think this will maximize the number of votes through making it more accessible. It is easier to pick my three āfavoriteā artworks than analyzing everything. I also donāt like the idea of giving people a āscoreā on their artwork.

Thanks so much for your input everyone. This is super importantāit is about the community, what will work for everyone. It seems this method is the most agreeable, and still fair in that, if still considering the criteria in shaping your ranking, you will have done both your judging and the art pieces the justice they deserve (see details at bottom).
Here is how this is going to go.
**BEGINNING 6AM EST 4/13,**All contestants will, as originally required, PM @azulryu , @kingboo64 , and @brendantheclayboy TOGETHER in one group message. This message will indicate your #1, #2, and #3 ranking for EVERY category. Remember, all non-contestants of E4 are also welcome to vote provided they have the account age requirement. You still are NOT allowed to rank your own art work.
So it should look something like this:
Child
#1. x by _____
#2. y by _____
#3. z by _____
Recreation
#1. x by _____
#2. y by _____
#3. z by _____
etc.
Just copy and paste the name/artist from the gallery on page one (2nd post) of the this thread, where you can view all the artwork that has been organized by category. #1 is going to receive the highest points, #3 the lowest. We will tally the points and declare winners once the voting period is over. New voting period end will be 10pm EST 4/20.
There is ONE THING WE REQUEST. Please still consider the criteria in shaping your ranking of the art. This still keeps the categories fairly distinct, and still provides a layer of objectivity. It isnāt supposed to be about you picking whoever did your favorite Pokemon. You should really be trying to judge the best, the most creative, the most provoking, etc. If you still consider the criteria, we feel this will still accomplish the original idea of rewarding those who did the best of their category(s), in applying the principles. As a reminder, they are:

A major thanks is in order to @andrewvt36 who took the time to discuss how we might be able to utilize google forms - a resource we were not aware of beforehand. I feel it important to acknowledge the level of time and work he did behind the scenes prior to this decision (it was a LOT). Moving forward, we will likely use the google form format or something similar to make voting easier for next year. So thank you again, man!

Just finished voting! Had a really hard time narrowing it down to only three pieces, especially in the original and recreation categories. Iād love to shout out honorable mentions here, but I donāt want to influence anyone 
Just know that even when youāre not in the top 3 of a category, your work might still be in the top favorites of someone!

Just voted and its much simpler now. Although, narrowing it down was much harder than expected so I guess thats a great job to all the artists in their respective categories. Hope that a lot of E4 votes and at least appreciates the work put in by everyone.
