Announcing the E4 Worlds official meet up location for Anaheim 2025!

Hey everyone! Our annual E4 worlds meet up location has officially been finalized for this year! I wanted to take just a moment to thank everyone that works behind the scenes that help run our largest in person meet up year after year. We are always community run, and can’t do it without the people here on the fourms!

Our meet up location this year will be:

HILTON ANAHEIM
777 W. Convention Way, Anaheim, CA 92802
Saturday, the 16th
DOORS OPEN AT 5:00 PM AND ENDS AT 7:30 PM
Located in the lower lobby, Catalina Room 4

Located >5 min walk from the convention hall, you’ll be able to walk right in and head downstairs. Signage will be up to help direct you upon entering the hotel space.

So what’s in store this year?

Everyone who attends will be given a door prize ticket (drawing at 7:00 PM), as well as one free mystery gift from myself!

Just like last year we will have a FULL CASH BAR. Once you grab your drink of choice, feel free to grab a table and socialize with your favorite E4 members! Signature cards will be exchanged, binder collections will be shown, slabs will be showcased and packs will be ripped. So get ready to have some fun!

@SeasidePokemon will be returning with our lovely E4 photo frame from last year, with even more Pokémon options and a polaroid camara you can utilize to take photos with friends, and keep as a souvenir!

Towards the end of our meet up time, we’ll get everyone together for our annual E4 meet up photo before we disperse into groups for dinner. There are MULTIPLE dinner options around the hotel including a food court. Eat before or after the meet up, it’s entirely up to you!

You don’t want to miss this!

As we do every year, I like to remind everyone that these meet up events are not free for us to host. We are entirely dependent on community donations. For this year, we request a $35.00 donation to help us run the event for all of our members.

If you don’t have 35 dollars, or simply won’t be there, that’s okay! ANY donation will be helpful. You can submit monetary donations via Paypal to: jason.micco@gmail.com (All donations will be going to E4 related event costs)

is anyone else not going to worlds but coming to this? i live about a 30-45 min drive from the convention center so considering just popping in for the meetup, but i get anxious in big groups where i dont know anyone. im more of a social butterfly in cosy small group settings

You’ll be joining a group of internet forum Pokemon enthusiasts, I think most of us feel the same! Make sure you get a badge though, it’s the perfect conversation starter!

Having run this event now multiple times for us (going back to 2019). I would say absolutely come out. A good chunk of the group is introverted (myself included) but really very approachable. I’ve never had anyone tell me they “regretted” going to this meet up, quite the opposite. This is the meet up we do each year, it’s a great chance to be a part of an online community in person.

And if you’re worried you’ll be stuck sitting there by yourself not having fun, I’ll personally come over and hang out with you.

What all goes on other than competitions at Worlds? Looks like tickets are lottery only?

I’ve largely been uninterested in large events, but it might be nice to go to one and meet some of y’all!
