Just trying to figure out if this thing is double holo or not I think it is just wanted to ask someone that may know more than me.
“Double holo” does not apply to Japanese cards.

i haven’t seen any others in person are they normally holo all over the card or just in the bordered of the art? I can’t tell from other pictures of the card.
rtas is correct. “Double Holo” only concerns English printed Neo Revelation cards. The sparkle holo on top of Japanese Shining Gyarados is all over the card.

So in rarity where does mine stack against the other variants ? I just want to make sure it’s going to be worth it if I decide to get it graded. I doubt I’ll part ways with it because it’s just something I’ve had since I was a kid I pulled this from a pack when I was younger.

Your card is the same as every other Japanese Shining Gyarados, there are no variants in Japanese.
Still a beautiful card and one I would consider grading regardless of condition just to get it protected and encapsulated for display!

Okay just wondering thanks for the info. I didn’t know if the Japanese variant had less prints than the American or if any other variants came into play with the Japanese vs American. I probably will get it graded

Japanese shinings are more “rare” than English ones, and more pretty too.
