Doomrai's Darkrai Collection (All Languages Now Catalogued )

Nice collection!

Great choice on the colour scheme! The Black & Red combo is perfect for Darkrai. I also love your binder tag.

Good luck on acquiring the last few English cards

Great job and the binder really looks cool. Great touch with the colours and the binder tag. I love your placeholders as well  . Good luck on finding the missing cards and looking forward to the completed English update!

Literally just found your spreadsheet and currently using it to catalogue and do my own English master set of darkrai (thank you so much for it). I am physically struggling to find ANYTHING on the Non holo DP24 EU exclusive darkrai to the point of trying to source sealed EU releases of the dvd for chance of the card being inside. Any help would be appreciated (AU based)

Absolutely beautiful collection btw

I’m so glad to hear the spreadsheet has been helpful! in regards to the nonholo DP24 Darkrai, I had to have somebody grab one off of Cardmarket for me which is an EU marketplace for cards. they’re much easier to find on there!!

How exactly did you find someone to get a Non Holo DP24? That is one of the 8 cards I need to finish the English master set also! Also, what about the Sheen Holo Darkrai EX 63/108. How did you find that? I’ve looked at so many ebay listings but its so hard to tell the holo pattern in bad pictures! Those are the last two niche cards I need. The other ones are just some of the more expensive ones that I’m trying to find at local shows! You’re binder looks awesome!

I had a pal who has access to CardMarket grab the nonholo on there for me! There’s tons available on there, you just never see them on eBay for some reason. In regards to the sheen holo, just message sellers about the listing asking if they can tell you what direction the holo is in, I had to do this like ten times until I found somebody with the right one! I hope you find the rest of your cards you’re looking for ASAP, as of writing this I’m now only 2 cards away from an English Master Set!

Happen to still have their contact?! I’d love to do the same thing for the non holo! I was looking at a few of them tonight on there. And did you figure out which one the sheen is? Is it the vertical holo? Or the diagonal? The one I have currently is diagonal. Going to a show Sunday hoping to find both of the Darkrai and umbreon cards!

If I was closer to the person I would ask, we only talked a few times and it was just about the card and this was about a year ago! If you know anybody in the EU they’d definitely be able to help.

In regards to the sheen question: the ones in the Decks were extremely more common than the Dark Explorers pack variant.

Decks = Diagonal while Packs = Vertical

How hard was it for you to find the reverse holos for all the older cards. Australia makes it real hard to find a lot of these boys.

Also those place holder cards do you have a template of that i could use?

Hi! The reverse holos have been annoying, just with how expensive reverse holos for older cards are getting. One of the final 2 cards I’m waiting on in the mail is a older reverse holo. I’m not sure about import costs to Australia, but I’d suggest TCGPlayer.

My friend made me the template for my binder, I’m glad you enjoy it! I can ask if I can share it if you’d like?

TCGPlayer doesnt ship to Aus so i’ve ben trying to make do with facebook marketplace and eBay, its a very long process of trying to find stuff. I feel like due to the restrictions of the international tariffs and lack of websites that actually ship to Aus our pokemon Market is extremely expensive

I wouldn’t mind if you could ask but completely understandable if not

Im out in New Zealand and swear by Cardtrader! :> You can buy from multiple sellers and you dont pay shipping from the seller to warehouse. Just from the warehouse to you! They have shipping quotes that let you know roughly how many cards fit into a shipment

That’s great, sorta like Cardmarket in the EU by the looks of it. Whats shipping prices usually like for you? As i reckon shipping would roughly cost the same for us both

You can calculate that here.

I’m gonna show you what I see, but it’s all in NZD hehe

For Aus

For NZ

However the best strat is to have a friend in the US and send them all your cards! (There are more price brackets but its only good if youre buying over 2400 cards lol)

Otherwise use a mail forwarding service. I’m not sure if Aus Post still has their America to Aus one going. An example for NZ is NZ Post’s You Shop  Might help you look for an equivelent. You will save a lot more on shipping if buying more cards, trust

I’ve also been collecting a JP/EN Darkrai masterset and I stand by Cardtrader! I looked for the Nonholo DP24 for months and found it on cardtrader. It was like $16 for me in the US after everything.
