Say you send a pre scan cert slab for reholdering, will they make scans of the card for the website?
I am finding conflicting info on the internet. Psa doesn’t specifically mention nor deny it

Second question, keep hearing conflicting infos about this aswell
Some say that if you send to reholder a vintage card which is a psa 10 but battered because of a bad grader or ancient grading standarts, they might downgrade it and refund you the difference with you having no say in this.
Is this real life? What if i bought the card during the bullmarket and send it to reholder during a bearmarket and get financially obliterated?
That’s what i heard time ago as well. That they will downgrade your card and pay you the difference. Would like to know from someone who knows more about this.
They don’t regrade the card during a reholder. This only happens if there is damage to the case on or near the card.

Its probably a conflict of opinions because they are talking about different services.
PSA has a review service where they charge you if you think it deems a better grade, and the reholder service which just gets an updated slab with the same cert.
