Would it have the same effect to get, say, 9.5s on everything and a 2 on centering? If it’s a foreign card and you really want it graded I’m sure a miscut collector would understand if it’s like a 3 with 3/4 9.5 grades.

Sure thing, but thats why I personally think BGS should avoid the average grade and leave just the 4 subs. Thats also why everything below a BGS 9 is a complete mess, even for regular cards…
