I have a running spreadsheet to track my Greninja collection and what I have off at grading. But that’s about it. Might have to go through and add what I have sealed. But that is a daunting task that I don’t know when I would have time for anytime soon.
If I were to take a step back and make rational decisions I might be tempted to sell things. Sounds like a terrible idea

The only time I proactively check the value of a card I own is if I’m getting ready to list it for sale.

I don’t audit my personal collection regularly.
I sometimes go through my collection to decide if I want to sell a part of it to finance a new purchase, then I start following prices on those specific cards.
Not interested on tracking prices of what I’m mot planning to sell

I just throw my high end cards into a shoebox in my closet and look at them from time to time. That’s pretty much it.
