Wondering how to display a sealed promo card to best protect it from the elements. Would a semi rigid sleeve do well enough to keep it from bending due to any moisture/temp changes?
Any help appreciated

There are extra-long semi-rigids that are really good for this. I think “Card Saver 3” might serve you well.
How are you displaying them? On a desk? In a frame?
In a cabinet currently, but it’s not completely sealed, so will be looking to upgrade that shortly also. The card will remain sealed forever though so happy to explore the best options as we will move a couple of times in the next few years and it will likely get displayed in a bunch of places, not just a cabinet.
A solution you should look into are sleeves and frames sized for tarot cards, because they are similar dimensions.
Ok, appreciate the response. Card Saver 3 from Cardboard Gold aren’t available over here, was it just the because of the dimensions that you recommend them or the actual brand? I should be able to find a brand with the same dimensions and will look to also acquire a frame.
Thanks heaps mate
I would opt for a custom acrylic case!
I’m sure there are also off-the-shelf options, but just double-check all the dimensions of course.
I had this one made which was really cheap (though they are based in the UK - I know you’re a fair distance away!) The company that made it was PRdisplays.
Images are a bit random, they are taken from my collection thread / older photos from messages! But you get the general idea.
Very cool idea.
I will also definitely look into this. There’s no shortage of people making acrylic customs over here, it’s just searching through the noise to find quality as often reviews are faked.
The card in question isn’t sealed as the pictures you’ve provided which I wonder if it makes any difference.
Thanks a lot for the suggestion!
I wish that magnet loaders could accommodate that size, I like the way my raw cards display in them.
This was my initial thought but seems they would be too tight a squeeze. I did order one just to check but it hasn’t arrived yet and as the card will stay in the case for it’s lifetime, seems worth it to spend a little extra for a custom acrylic casing.
Yea the magnet loaders they sell at my local dollar store are too tight of a squeeze to accommodate the sealed packaging. Need a skin tight sleeve to fit inside
They’re just a “standard option”, nothing special about them other than the dimensions being beneficial for your intended purpose. But if they’re not convenient for you to buy, there’s nothing unique about them that makes them the only option.
