Hi, I got some older cards recently in a big pile and noticed very quickly that some of them - same set, same card - are just drastically different tones on them.
Was this a common issue back in the printing of these from WOTC?
Does not seem sensible to fake these as they are common as hell, but wanted to check on here, thanks.
Cards are legit. There are color tone differences
Was it common? Yes. Was it an issue? No. More of a blessing if anything. Different card stocks on occasion, different levels of saturation, etc.
This goes for for all sets through the end of time though. The variance was just wild with WOTC. I suppose it had to do with incredible demand and having to source materials from different places at times.
