Hi everyone,
I am looking to buy a Blastoise CD promo or a Blastoise from the squirtle deck. Since the artwork is the same, I figured it does not really matter which one I choose. So I’ll probably go for the best price.
But does anyone know if there are differences between these cards that I am missing? Except for the symbol on the cards.
CD promo has a rarity symbol, Squirtle Deck has not. Other than that, exactly the same 
CD promo also has the yellow Pikachu tail as set icon
I think these are the only differences.
Still saddens me to this day Japan got TWO prints of this one and we got bugger all! 
Squirtle deck copy is also scarcer and has less copies graded.
Indeed. If I’d only wanted to one of them, I’d go for the Squirtle deck one. Less copies, cheaper (last time I checked) and the Squirtle symbol is a nice touch.

If the listed cards are too expensive you can always buy the VHS sealed pack too…they aren’t crazy expensive at the moment and you get the squirtle and bulbasaur decks
