Does this card’s front actually fit within the 55/45 to 60/40 percent range?
No, they did not, my recent graded cards are almost exclusively graded based on their front centering.
That card indeed looks very off-center, but I can assume that the grader was misguided about the “double border”, I thought it was perfectly centered at first glance as well.

That’s very reassuring to hear (the first part anyway)! I’m trying to get my hands on a nicely centered one of these…so far either the front is off and the back is perfect or vice versa, so when I saw this graded one it killed me a little.
Nevermind the centering, does anyone else see the horrible edging or is that just me?

A 2017 card selling for over a thousand is an absolute joke. At least, in my humble opinion.

Holy moly, i wouldnt even put that in my submission let alone pay for a 5 day turnaround (knowing its pretty much a gauranteed 9 or less). Well proven wrong…
The issue with the GX cards is that the more you look at them, the more you think they are OC due to the line through the border.

Wouldn’t that line be part of the bordering? I have found several where the entire card is perfectly centered, including the line.
You have to take the entire border into consideration though.
Oh wait, I think we’re talking about 2 different lines. I was talking about the 2nd border and I think you’re talking about the Black GX Move background line? If so, I didn’t even take into consideration of that looking OC at all lol but now I do.
I’m talking about the card border. It’s separated into three areas of which one of those is the dividing line.
All I’m saying is the longer you pay attention to it, the more you will convince yourself that the card is OC.
How can you not pay attention to it? lol I envy people who can look past it. It drives me nuts.
