Name a user, it probably wont cause drama… right?
Everyone deserves a voice. Whether it is good, bad, or somewhere in between everyone is entitled to their opinion. In a space where thousands of people come together to talk and discuss about various topics it wouldn’t be much of a forum if we had a tyrannical overlord watching what we say on here.
So in that sense I don’t think it is the moderators jobs to step in on controversial topics because if it bothers you or something you stand for, YOU need to step in.
There is a fine line on what moderators can do since everyone’s opinions and beliefs are different. How are they going to satisfy everyone… its impossible.
I’d like to think that if a person is offended or hurt in some way they would reach out to a mod to explain their side and story. Then a mod can try to help fix the issue. That’s all I think they can do. Unless you want a forum where everyone has the same opinion and thoughts like North Korea where the supreme leader has a 99.93% approval rating.
