Classic “nice guy” when he gets rejected.
The joke was that someone randomly messaged @smpratte to tell him he was queer and that @Fireftw_TCG pointed out that the Milan message sounded like a date request that I’m making an assumption that is coming from a guy.
So the punchline can either be interpreted as Smpratte’s response to the guy (him: I’ll give you 2M and a date in Milan, response: it’s a shame you’re a queer)
OR
Can be interpreted as the unknown instagramer guy calling smpratte gay but his gayness made him $2M by going out on a date with this other guy. So smpratte may be wealthy but its a shame he’s a queer.
I’m sure will be extra funny now that I explained the joke

I’m aware that my cards are mostly “Bulk”. However, when I posted my Grass Energy Misprint in Show Off Your Error Cards Megathread!, someone sent me a MD offering me a base price of $100 USD for my misprint.
If you’re wondering, I didn’t even made an agreement due to I’m not selling my Grass Energy Misprint. I still have the misprint card in my collection
Btw, despite I didn’t even made an agreement, I appreciate that there’re people that are interested in specific cards I have in my collection.

Was offered $32k for a 9.5 Shadowless Zard and 35k with the 9.5 Shadowless Venusaur thrown in also by a large and very well known IG reselling account which shall remain nameless.
I declined as I was married to that card (learnt my lesson).
Zard is about $8-10k today.
I’m sure it’ll go up again but just funny remembering those prices.
Another classic was $5k for a PSA 9 Japanese Base Set trio

I did, also had basically the full holo set in PSA 9 that I sold for about $150 a pop each. Can’t complain about that one - paid $1700 ISH for the complete set just before all the crazy Logan Paul stuff happened. Was my first Pokémon buy since 2011.

32k for a non 1st edition shadowless is wild
Not THAT crazy though.
At the time there were a couple public sales around the 30k mark for a 9.5 shadowless zard (PSA 10s were 70-100k).
The craziest for me was seeing base unlimited PSA 9 zards go 5k+ (pretty sure one sold for $8k).
PSA 9 shadowless zard hit over $20k too lol.
