Last year I bought all 18 of these cards used in a binder collection on ebay. The seller had them listed as NM/Mint condition, so I decided to send them off to PSA. Overall I was pretty pleased with the grades. My Wartortle is the lowest graded Southern Islands Wartortle on the PSA Pop Report, and it is the only one that is graded a 6 lol. I included a screenshot of the current pop report to show you guys.
Nice collection, thanks for sharing. I too have thought about picking up a whole collection of Southern Islands and submitting to PSA. The artwork is great on them all, but the holos really stand out. Very tough to grade them though.
Do you plan on ‘upgrading’ this set or are you happy with it and moving onto something else?
In the future I would like to complete this entire set in PSA 10, but for right low I’m pretty pleased with them. This set is on my top five favorites list! @pokenastic,
I too am going for the set in 10s, however I’ve come to the conclusion that if you can’t grade the holos in 10s yourself, then good luck!
@kpod,I agree, the Holos in the set are a pain to get in 10s. Good luck on trying to complete your set!
Are your pictures somewhere else? Every post you have for collections I dont see any pictures.
