Do you mean just series 1 booster packs or every booster pack variation in general for the Topps series? That’s probably going to be a lot with some lackluster variations in there but i know there are at least 8 variations for Series 1 packs. Not sure if there are more though. Some are pretty lackluster variations, like just a barcode number changed or they added the 1.99 price to the front.

I am trying to hunt down all the different Topps pack varieties. I have 7 different prints of series 1 and I trying to find them all. I have posted my findings so far on my Instagram PacksOfNorway.

The gallery is completed again since i finally have the missing Ready for Battle in my hands! While searching for one a more knowledgeable collector also taught me that i’m missing another card too, a jumbo set list card that was a magazine insert in UK, but he was kind enough to help me get one. I’ve updated the op with both missing cards and while i guess it’s always possible that some obscure new promo appears out of nowhere i’m happy to call the gallery complete again. Massive thanks for @stagger12 for the Ready for Battle card!

Could you confirm that the original TOPPS set was printed in few different languages (Italian, french and spanish for sure) while starting from the Johto series card were printed in english only?
Also distribution was US exclusive starting from this set? I’m asking because here in EU I’m having an hard time to get few cards from other sets.

Yes, the first topps sets were released in multiple languages, in addition to your list also german and i believe portuguese cards exist. All original series 1-3 kanto cards have other language versions of them but also some johto cards, there are some for sale on ebay right now if you search for example topps johto german/french cards. Regarding US/European releases some sets like chrome sets and advanced sets were US exclusive but johto sets had some weird releases in European market too, johto series 1 was US exclusive but instead Europe got johto series 3 that was just a series 1 with a cut list of cards. Europe got the johto league champions but it wasn’t possible to complete johto pokedex with those two releases. The differences between johto series 1 and series 3 set lists can be seen above in my gallery or for example in bulbapedia but it really has been confusing masses of casual European topps collectors

Yea the set lists for the non US sets are very confusing because the 3 possible series do not map directly to the US series.
I’m working on finishing them now. Hope to have some galleries of all the complete sets as they dont really seem to be posted anywhere.
There are two different Spanish sets depending on the dialect (Spain and Argentina). Very hard for a non spanish speaker to tell the difference. Im like one card away from having a gallery of both.

Yea a new thing is there are some rainbow foils in the non US sets as well. Much more subtle though and have no idea if it was intended or which sets actually have them.

Portuguese Series 2 is a newly discovered set for me. I collected the series 1 10 years ago but never ran across any series 2 and didnt know they existed. Found a few pictures on a Brazil marketplace a few months ago and have been trying to track some down ever since. Have made some good progress and only missing about 15 foils currently. It’s difficult to get these out of Brazil even if you can find someone that has some. Most people there dont have an easy payment method set up or just have no interest selling internationally. As far as I can tell they were sold in newstands. I have no idea if there were boosters or if they were sold in the single clear packs like in Argentina. Thought id post a gallery of the full set if anyone wanted to see them.

I have a friend that has a complete Spanish Argentina series 1 and 2 set, both in non-holo and holo, including boosters and empty boxes. The series 2 holos were never included inside the booster and were released as a short Burger King promotion so they are very rare.
