Collecting Every Slowpoke and his line and regionals in every language

So I’m collecting every single Slowpoke, Slowbro, Slowking, Mega Slowbro, and all the Galarian forms. In every language and including all the different promos.

I know about a lot of the Promos, but they can be hard to research in other languages. I found many of them such as the Indonesian KFC Stamp Slowpoke, but do y’all know about any of the really obscure and/or lesser known ones?

Very warm welcome to the forums @PoorManVagabond. Super lovely to have you here. We have a resident queen in @slowqueen who can probably help you out. I know she also hunts some really obscure stuff.

You can find these threads by her very useful:

I wish you a lovely time on the forums and also fun and success in your collection goals!

Cheers!

I havent pushed much research on the 99 prints(unlimited) but ive found 5 versions with a -15 degree magenta layer on the back.

The first two are first edition and “unlimited”. Second 2 are “3rd print” USA printings. The 5th one looks like its UK and the last one i believe was printed by carta mundi. Havent acquired an australian poke yet.

Dont know how deep you plan on going

I plan on going as deep as I can. I know for the Australian one, it has a 1999-2000 on the bottom and I have on my list the English first edition and unlimited, but how do you identify the others?

you need to look close. Can distinguish them by their print patterns, card stock and the ink used.

Oh gotcha. Ya I’m going collecting the cards that have intentional printed differences. Such as stamps and like the Australian Fossil Set has a 1999-2000 listed on the bottom. Stuff like that. Good luck to you tho. That’s gunna be an intense set.
