Chance these might get OC grade?

I picked these up from a lot recently. This is the first time I’ve ever purchased a raw 1st edition base holo in mint condition, didn’t think it would be possible anymore! The Hitmonchan could be a gem by some stretch, but definitely a 9 if it weren’t for centering.

Are these pretty close to the OC qualifier? I think the Hitmonchan would get an 9(OC) if it did qualify, and the Gyarados an 8(OC).

Unlikely. OC is reserved for much more severe displacement of the picture. From what I’ve seen, typically a 80/20 border ratio or worse. Yours is close enough to try though.

Unfortunately, I think they will get PSA 8s on centering alone. I agree with still trying though. There are a few weak OC qualifiers out there.
