Chance of pulling crystal - Aquapolis

Does anyone have an idea what the statistics regarding pull chances are in the Aquapolis box? Thanks!

1-2 a box.

sometimes 0 if unlucky (example: PokeRev’s box opening on YT)

Pokerev had a 100% repacked box

Lol my thoughts exactly

Yeah, that pull rate is definitely unusual. Were you able to spot some traces of repacking?

And if the Pokemon gods smile upon you might as well pull all 3 crystals like @hisoka107 did back in the days. Still amazed by that 2 part opening on his channel.

I believe it’s the same chance as a regular Holo meaning you could pull all of them or none.

I’ve been screeching this for years. I believe the same is true for the secret rare Dark Raichu and Neo Rev Shinings.

The box when he bought it was opened and the guy told him he just opened them for the box toppers

Ah I see, so a chance to find one particular crystal card is the same as finding any other particular holo, but the chances of any of the three crystal cards appearing are lower given that there are only 3, compared to the 32 regular holos. That’s 3:35 so around 8.6% of finding a Crystal card among the 35 holos (32 holos and 3 crystal).

… I guess?

What do you mean by repacked? You mean that the packs were resealed?

I don’t think the box was tampered with… he still pulled holos. Just bad luck.

Yeah, this is why I was confused by what effectspore meant. Because he pulled 12 holos and there’s no way to determine which packs have crystals by weighing AFAIK.

Just a hypothesis: maybe previous owner opened heavy packs until they got 1-2 crystals and then they add some loose heavy packs back to the box…

I said repacked box, not repacked packs

Aquapolis was sealed and shitty luck. The Skyridge box was the questionable one and likely mapped & repacked by the seller. Seller claimed to have opened the box solely for box topper (this was never a thing at the time), yet box contained no regular holo crystals and 11 holos.

11 holos? That’s quite a good ratio no? Also it doesn’t seem surprising that there’s no crystal given that there’s only 5 of them compared to the thirty-something holos.

To summarise: you can get 0-3 crystals per box.

12 is what you’re supposed to get. I’ve heard that WotC boxes rarely have less than 12. 11 is definitely possible, but it would be unlucky.

Also, that’s not how the pull rates of crystals worked – the pull rate is different than that of normal holos.
