CGC x JSA Autograph Service announced, showcases questionable Ken "Sugamori" auto

I made the thread for that too.

Charlie hit the nail on the head here.

You don’t need an expert in Pokemon to see that Sugimori auto is fake. You don’t even need an expert at all. You don’t even need someone who can read Kanji. It would take 30 seconds of research/critical thought to identify it as fake. It’s just so bad.

The way they promote their service of authenticating signatures is by reliably demonstrating they’re incapable of doing so. What an absolute joke. What an insult to pokemon collectors and embarrassment for the CGC brand.

In the pokemon auto collecting space, these companies are ready to collect your money without being able to actually provide the service they purport to offer. Some might call that a scam. Worse, it empowers the bad actors who are creating and profiting off of these fake autos. Not cool!

My favourite thing is when PSA say an Auto is “questionable”, when it’s legit with photo proof, and then charge you for it…

…and then let through fakes
