Ah, good to know. Thanks!
At events they do. I’m doing all of my relabeling at nationals in a few weeks.
They haven’t added the option to the form page yet.
I might grade some cards👀
this, but the illustrator
Still confused how/why they are updating their pop report the way they are lol. They are slowly moving all of the new Gem Mint 10’s in with the Pristine 10s. But they already added the new Gem Mint 10 and Mint+ 9.5 columns.
EDIT Looks like it’s still updating as of tonight. Pristine number is going back to normal and I’m seeing a ton of stuff populate in Gem Mint 10 now.
I’m annoyed that it doesn’t seem I can reholder sports and tcg in the same form
It’s because they are two completely different teams grading them. Companies merged but not the same graders.
Haha where are these listed on?
The more of them appear the more accepted they’ll become
Although why does Shining Charizard start on the second line
Thanks!
Different font size and centering on the label is a bit annoying
Agreed. CGC is back to their old problems with label formatting. I’m sure it’ll be standardized soon.
Now that some time has passed and we’ve been able to digest it…
DO YOU LIKE THE LOOK OF THE NEW LABELS?
- Yes
- No
If anything I think they look better now.
Other than the fact that they don’t have the delicious BGS pointiness (which was never going to happen) and looking a bit cheap (which of course, they are) this couldn’t have turned out better. Sufficiently bland and classy, the sticker is complementary, embossing on the Pristine looks good. They honestly did a great job.
I think they look nice. My only real problem is that I can no longer recognize the label at a distance. I feel like it is a real bonus to have a slab that is synonymous with the brand and at least for now I think the slab blends in with others. Maybe that will change as I see them more and more though!
Is there a way to ship from the pwcc vault to CGC to get the label fixed? It sure beats an extra shipment plus insurance to go from vault to me to them
I’m a fan of the new label, but I’m not a fan of the inconsistent font size between sets – what’s up with that? I hope they fix that soon.
It just looks weird when cards from different sets are side to side:
I’d rather they standardize the font size and instead write out “Neo Genesis - 1st Edition” as “1ED Neo Genesis” or “Neo Genesis - 1st Ed.”
I’d honestly rather them get all the information on there. People rage on PSA for the abbreviations, and it seems CGC is actively avoiding that outcome.
