(Yes I primarily made this thread to show off my cat).
This is PENELOPE she is roughly five years old. She is a big chonker but is down almost a full pound since adoption under a year ago so I am very proud of her. Her favorite thing to do is lie flat on her back until she is squished. She also loves the breeze from the window (don’t worry she cannot fit out of it, there is a courtyard I take her on walks). Despite living in a small apartment and working from home she still follows me everywhere and demands attention at all times. She sleeps on her own mini pillow and blanket (towel for easy cleaning) on the bed. Very spoiled and loved!!!
Hell yes! I was aching to show off this pal of mine ever since I saw the dogs! I cannot help but be overzealous with pictures! Chansey I love your cat, she looks like a beautiful soul.
Oh yes, his name is Courage (the not so cowardly cat). Incredible spirit, fantastic personality. Acts like my brother. Always there for me, always looking after me and I him.
I never had the opportunity to own one growing up, and I have no interest in owning one now, but I still appreciate them. That being said, there are like 10-15 male cats constantly roaming around in the garden looking for, well, that other cat word, so I’m never too far away from one.
Closest I’ve been to owning one was a period in my childhood when me and my grandmother had to feed the neighbor’s albino cat. I remember I really enjoyed letting it into their house and feeding it, it felt like “my” cat if only for a little while.
Finally, a thread where I can show my cat collection. We have four cats, a Balinese (Louis), Siamese(Yvette), Maine Coon(Tabitha), and a tuxedo(Stimpy).
@qwachansey Glad to hear youre trying to get her weight under control. Far too many people don’t care or even think its cute when their cats become obese. Keep it up!
Thanks it is definitely a challenge but a huge relief that she is making good progress according to her vet. It was heart breaking when I first picked her up she was over sixteen pounds and could barely jump and do normal cat behavior. Now she is obviously still large but can run around, leap and play with toys etc
Amazing thread!
Here are my 2 Pixie (Black&White) & Mew
They are brother and sister adopted from the RSPCA where my partner works
I used to open packs on Instagram for fun and they would always get into the shot somehow
