Card value website

Just a quick question which website may be best to get an idea a card is worth other than just surfing on ebay?

eBay completed items is the best and most accurate. Sometimes you can get an idea for modern sets from sites like: pokeprices.doeiqts.com/

www.worthpoint.com/
sortsof.com/search.php?
www.terapeak.com/
www.watchcount.com/

I think there is a 5th one but I can’t remember

The thing about ebay history is that it only lets you go back a certain amount of time. I think its 2 months. The other sites must actually store data from auctions on their own servers. None of them are really worth the money, though.

eBay.com is hands down the best source.

For newer things sites like TCGplayer, Troll&Toad, eBay.com, etc. provide you with an upper bound to value for newer cards as it is also valuable to know at which price certain cards are readily available on the market. When someone tries telling me a PSA 10 CD promo charizard is worth $500, I simply show them several listings ready to be purchased at under $100. Same goes for new cards like Shaymin EX, Tapu Lele GX and such.
