Arizona trading card and collectibles was a decent one close to where I grew up. 24th street and Indian school. Sometimes I had some really good finds there and some times I didn’t score anything. If you’re in that area it’s worth the stop.
This one was probably the best I’ve found in the area, though overall there’s not much around here that I’ve seen for Pokemon. You might also want to check out Collectors Marketplace. It’s actually pretty close by to the Arizona Trading Card and Collectibles. 1945 E Indian School Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85016. There used to be two vendors for Pokemon cards here, but I think my favorite one might have moved out last month. They were remodeling at the time and I haven’t been back yet to check it out. There’s still one vendor near the entrance that has a small showcase of singles. If you like looking at figures and other collectibles for fun though, it’s a great place to go.
There is nothing too great as far as I am aware. I have been to this shop and it was OK. You aren’t going to find any amazing deals but the people are pretty friendly and they have some PSA graded and non graded cards for sale.
Nah I disagree… I found an amazing deal there… a couple years ago I snagged a bunch of eseries blisters packs from here (team magma vs Aqua, ex sandstorm, ex dragon). I paid like $25 each. I don’t think he knew what he had.
He had a whole assortment of these blisters in a huge box. I’m sure they are sold out by now though.
I wouldn’t really go expecting deals either. I went there a couple times recently and I can tell you that he knows the value of what he’s selling, or will. He looks up prices online before giving you a number and his vintage boosters are in line with Ebay pricing. He is into grading, and was selling his lower grades in store last time I went. You get the fun of seeing what you buy in person though! Honestly though, I haven’t been back in a few months and I’m not sure if I will go back.
