Card Shops and Flea Markets in San Diego Area

Hey all,

Does anyone know the best card shops and/or flea markets to buy cards in the San Diego area? I’m in North County so I can pretty much get anywhere in SD county or pop up to Orange County as well. I do know about Frank & Sons up near LA, but that’s a little bit farther than I’d like to travel. Thanks in advance for any tips!

I should add that I’m primarily looking for older WOTC, Ex Era and Japanese cards, not new product.

Cheers

I’m in North County, too! I’d love to know if we have cool local places. We should meet up!

Hey yeah that would be fun to meet up!

I tried Kobey’s Swap Meet this morning but it was a total bust. People trying to sell beat-up modern commons for $1 a piece or crap GX’s like Toxipex for $20.

They must be selling to uninformed parents :slightly_frowning_face:

Dang i lived in La Jolla last year, if i was still there i couldve join u guys if we had a meet up! Frank and sons is pretty cool, check it out if u havent been there! Parking is shit though!

There’s a swap meet in Oceanside (maybe 20-30 mins from San Diego, up North).

There’s a couple of actual Pokémon Card Vendors there, one of them being pretty big and popular, having a broad range of different sets and eras!

I’ve only been once and it was a couple years ago, not sure how it looks these days!

All I’ve found in flee markets is bulk. Sellers are smart now and do research to see how much their stuff is worth.

Gone are the days where you could pick up a binded full of WOTC holos for $10. At least in So Cal. In other parts of the country it still happens.
