I’m looking to purchase this mewtwo but don’t have a lot of experience with shiny pokemon so can’t tell if it’s fake or not.
Hi Wild33,
The pixelated/low-light front and back pictures do not really help, but the one close-up seems fine at first glance. Nothing immediately stands out as possible forgery from that image alone.
Do you have any additional pictures for reference? One sanity check would be to also look at the seller’s other listings for reference. Rarely scammers list only one fake card on their sales page due to impatience and greed.
Hope this helps,

I second the recommendation of sifting through other cards sold by seller. I identified a potential fake a couple weeks back on eBay (after getting it in the mail) and did this same thing.
Funny part is he gave me a few free cards with order and after suspecting I got a fake I inspected the other cards and sure enough one of them had the wrong damage for one of
its attacks (really bad fake). So I did the rip trick and sure enough no black line. Needless to say I got my money back minus shipping because I’m a sucker and felt bad for him (genuinely believe he got ripped off as a kid) plus he was willing to get the other cards checked my an LCS to confirm my suspicions for everything else I suspected were fake.
