How? I’ve had an absolutely perfect mint one up for weeks at $89.99 and it hasn’t even gotten an offer. This one skyrockets to $165 in the last 5 mins. It seems like all of this guys auctions are going for even above top top dollar. Am I missing something? Guys friend’s bidding?
Bid history is filled with a dude with 1 feedback bidding this up. Note that all the reasonable bidders stop at around $75 or so. I smell something fishy.
EDIT: The same dude with 1 feedback is bidding on all the other auctions too. Definitely shill bidding and should be reported.

Definitely a possibility. Also could be a few people sniping high not thinking anyone will actually get close to their price.
Also this does happen quite a bit, i remember a seller here mentioning that they have had auctions finish higher than their own BIN prices…
This is clearly shill bidding…always a guy with 1 feedback is bidding ALL of these auctions up. I wish you could report listings that have ended. Might be worth it to give eBay a call and report this.

Yeah I thought it seemed waaaay off, most of the cards were ending stupid high
Was going to buy the Poliwrath for myself until it went crazy. Seemed odd though because I checked the bid history on some of the auctions and some of the guys bidding very high only had a few % of their bids with the seller (<10%)
I’ve reported this kind of bogus bidding before and the guy continued to do it in future listings so I guess eBay doesn’t care too much about this practice.

Hello, im new to this forum. You may have noticed my buying thread. Anyway I found it funny that I placed decent bids on most of his cards last night thinking “ive got these in the bag” then I wake up to find they sold for more than the psa graded versions! To me the funny part is finding im not the only one who thinks they went over priced. I feel loads better now. My hunt continues

I also bid on the cards and couldn’t believe how high they went, ridiculous
