Buying Help Shipping

Hey Guys,

Ive been thinking of buying a card I really like on ebay lately. Only thing is shipping to Canada is 30 somewhat dollars and USA is free. If I bought the card would anyone be willing to ship it up to me here? Could offer something for yor troubles, Ive had cards shipped to me for like 3$ not sure why the global ship program is such a rip off :[

@garyis2000 is this the type of thing you would be willing to help with, or no?

Probably wont need it anyway  Some sellers are so dumb lol, something listed for 270 with best offer, offering 225$ through p.pal youd think would be a fair offer, but they just cant grasp that concept lol

Sure, just pm me with instructions and I’ll follow:)

I see this far too often… eBay fees are only 9%. 9% isn’t a big deal and can’t justify a drop of $55 on a $270 item.

9% of $270 is only $24.30 and for myself, I don’t mind paying eBay a fee for their service as well as it just being easier to sell things direct through eBay as less messages etc. are involved. I sell all my items through there and accounting for the sale as well as shipping labels etc. its just easier when they are all together.

I do get that in this case it was listed as best offer, so they must have some wiggle room on top of the $24.30 that they would save in fees, but I for one do not do deals outside of eBay for new buyers. I cringe at how often it is brought up though, way more in my card sales than it is with other types of items. Circumventing the fees is frowned upon and I wonder when eBay will start cracking down heavier on it now that they do not own Paypal anymore.

I figured a 250 offer through Ebay would be equivalent to my offer. I saw the same card sell 200$ a few weeks ago at auction so my offer was fair I think. Granted I buy out of Ebay for all my base set cards, I dont get why its so frowned upon it just makes more sense and Ebay protection is garbage vs paypal so whats the point of paying a premium u know.
