Bought a CGC 10 Giratina V for Too Much — Should I Regrade with PSA?

I just bought a Japanese CGC 10 Giratina V card for around $1,000, and then I realized I paid too much compared to the recent last-sold prices. Should I crack the slab and send it to PSA for regrading?

d it to PSA for regrading?

How would you feel if it came back as a PSA 9?

really sad :)))

Looks like you’re down $200-$350.

Let’s say that you miraculously got a PSA 10. You’d still lose money after grading fees and seller fees. :headstone:

And if it came back a PSA 9… well it’ll be ramen for the month. :steaming_bowl:

I would just keep it as is and take this as a learning lesson. It might hurt now, but trust me, there have been much much worse then being down a couple hundred bucks. It’s not worth the extra money and time to regrade it just in the hopes that it comes back a PSA 10. As Dyl said, you wouldn’t be making back your money anyway after all the fees.

It’s a nice card. Enjoy it for what it is and try be more diligent with your research next time. :slightly_smiling_face:
