I’ve had fairly good luck from them, actually. Granted, the cards I order from them tend to be of the more common rares that are non-holo. I don’t order from them much anymore, though, as I’ve grown more suspicious of re-used images for cards that are misrepresented and I get tired of asking them if what they’re selling is what the title says or the image of the card.
Troll and Toad are legitimate, but their condition description is vague. You can get actual Near Mint cards from them, but there is no guarantee. They only categorize cards by either “Near Mint” or “Played”. They also do not post a photo of the exact card either. If you are not picky about the condition, it is a solid option.
Another horrible thing about Marktplaats is that you can change your username whenever you like and as much times as you want and no one can see your past usernames. Also, all communication goes via special marktplaats generated e-mailadresses that are unique for every transaction, so working with e-mails also won’t help to uncover them. I guess the only thing that could help is sharing bank/paypal details, but that isn’t that good I guess
