A friend of mine really likes bulbasaur, so was thinking to get a psa 10 copy as a gift for the upcoming birthday
Any suggestions for which bulbasaur card art is the best? I think the expedition one is great but my knowledge of bulbasaur cards is lacking…

As a Bulbasaur fan, I’ve always like the concept of these. That way you can watch your Bulbasaur ‘grow up’.
The planters are cool and there was one from the pokemon center website some time ago

Interested to see what you came up with. After said birthday, of course, since I assume it’s a surprise. 
Base set japanese no rarity or shadowless 1st is the way to go
I would be more thrilled with a nicer card in a PSA 9 compared to a common card in a PSA 10, just a thought to add.
