Pokémon Frienda (Japanese: ポケモンフレンダPokémon FRIENDA) is an arcade game developed by Takara Tomy A.R.T.S. and Marvelous. It is the fifth peripheral-based title developed by the two companies, following Pokémon Mezastar, Pokémon Ga-Olé, Pokémon Tretta, and Pokémon Battrio. It was officially announced on April 15, 2024,[1] and was launched in Japan on July 11, 2024. The name combines the Japanese words for “touch” (Japanese: 触れる fureru) and “rapid fire” (Japanese: 連打 renda), as well as the English word “friend” (Japanese: フレンド（といっしょに）).[2]
I collect plushies, and various other nick nacks like pins, and stuff when I can find them for a good price. The discs are interesting, and I wish I could play some of them.
I have some of the discs myself. There are also versions for China, and some for Taiwan. I havent looked into it much further than that though. If these were released in the U.S. you would more than likely have a line of people at them 24/7. Playing them looked rather fun, but when I was in Japan I never had the chance to.
