Pokémon Frienda (Japanese: ポケモンフレンダPokémon FRIENDA) is an arcade game developed by Takara Tomy A.R.T.S. and Marvelous. It is the fifth peripheral-based title developed by the two companies, following Pokémon Mezastar, Pokémon Ga-Olé, Pokémon Tretta, and Pokémon Battrio. It was officially announced on April 15, 2024,[1] and was launched in Japan on July 11, 2024. The name combines the Japanese words for “touch” (Japanese: 触れる fureru) and “rapid fire” (Japanese: 連打 renda), as well as the English word “friend” (Japanese: フレンド（といっしょに）).[2]
I collect plushies, and various other nick nacks like pins, and stuff when I can find them for a good price. The discs are interesting, and I wish I could play some of them.
I have some of the discs myself. There are also versions for China, and some for Taiwan. I havent looked into it much further than that though. If these were released in the U.S. you would more than likely have a line of people at them 24/7. Playing them looked rather fun, but when I was in Japan I never had the chance to.

I am an 80s kid so it was sports cards then books post college then video games and vg memorabilia for a good 20 years of heavy collecting. Gen 4 (SNES and Genesis/Megadrive) is my favorite generation. 16 bit era was peak in so many ways, and I still game old school except using HD hardware, my Consolizer works great for playing GB/GBA Pokémon games on the big screen. Downsized/sold MANY games but I still need to downsize more. Also bought some early RPG board games we used to play back in the days of the Commodore 64. Then built an inventory of scotches I enjoy, not to collect, but just to drink and share as I’ve learned formulas and barleys and processes change so buy what you like 5 bottles deep and now I’m set for probably life. Talisker 18 from 2007 era was peak, to me, but Springbank continues putting out the best scotch on the planet and seems to just keep getting better. A dram a night keeps me in moderation. I always seem to need to collect something. Have not evolved to the end game of collecting money and diving into learning how best to invest, so in the meantime my wife tolerates my collecting and I bankroll out traveling when I sell things off so it’s all good.

Yes indeed, they are why I stopped using my xrgb mini on original console hardware. I got the new one for the N64 games, just haven’t hooked it up yet to see how it looks.
